The F.A.O. No.741 of 1987 filed by the claimant seeking enhancement of the compensation awarded vide order dated 04-05-1987 by the Arbitrator (Additional District Judge, Gurdaspur), is allowed by order of an even date i.e. 03-08-2009. The compensation has been enhanced from Rs.200/- to Rs.350/- and the award granting solatium @30% has also been upheld.
In view of the said appeal having been allowed, the present appeal arising out of the same award dated 04-05-1987 filed by “ Union of India and others” will have to be accordingly dismissed.
Dismissed.
