This civil writ petition has been filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari quashing the action of the respondents in not making any reservation for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes while giving appointment to Anganwari Workers. A perusal of order Annexure P-1 indicates that on the basis of recommendation of Child Development Project Officer and on recommendation of Selection Committee, the candidates named in the order (Annexure P-1), Honourary Anganwari Workers were appointed till 1994.
In view of the efflux of time, the matter has been rendered infructuous and the question only academic.
Disposed of as such.
