The petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the name of the petitioner alongwith other candidates who had applied for the post of Medical Officer (General) vide Advertisement No.5 of 2009 and allowing the petitioner to participate in the interview process.
