The petitioner, who retired on 31.12.2007 as Assistant Secretary from Market Committee, Pehowa, has filed this petition for quashing the order dated 10.4.2008 (Annexure P-4), whereby on account of interest on his House Building Loan, an amount of Rs. 22,308/- has been deducted from the amount of Gratuity due to him and rest of the amount i.e. Rs. 2,73,455/- has been paid to him.
It is the case of the petitioner that no such amount of interest in his House Building Loan Account was due against him, but he has not annexed any document showing that at the time of his retirement, his said Account was clear and nothing was due against him. In view of this fact, counsel for the petitioner states that he may be permitted to withdraw this

petition with liberty to the petitioner to approach the authorities and convince them that the said amount was not due towards him.
Dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty.
