This petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to release full pay and allowances to the petitioners for the period during which the petitioners remained under suspension. Further prayer is that the respondents be directed to release annual increments to the petitioners which fell due during the period when petitioners were under

suspension. Claim is also for release of benefit of proficiency step up after completion of 18 years of service and consequential benefits, such as fixation of pay and arrears etc.
Learned counsel for the respondents
contends that vide Order dated 2.12.2009, all the reliefs as prayed for, have been granted to the petitioners. Suspension period has been treated as `leave of kind due’. Annual increments and proficiency step up have also been granted.
