After arguing the matter at some length, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner would be satisfied in case he is permitted to file an appropriate representation before the Chief Engineer concerned bringing to his notice the fact that brick baked with paddy straw etc. are being used by the contractors in connection with execution of government building works. He submits that Chief Engineer concerned be directed to look into the matter and take remedial steps. We see no reason to decline that prayer. We accordingly dismiss the writ petition as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to make a proper representation to the Chief Engineer concerned, in which event the Chief Engineer is expected to look into the matter and pass appropriate orders on the same in accordance with law. No costs.
