By filing this writ petition, the petitioner prays that directions be issued to respondent No.2 to grant contract carriage permit, for tempo operation (seven seater), to him.
It is grievance of the petitioner that on his application, moved on 7.3.2008(P1), no action was taken. Thereafter, the petitioner sent a legal notice on 28.5.2009 (P2), which is still pending undecided.
Counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner will be satisfied in case directions are issued to respondent No.2 to decide legal notice of the petitioner, as per law.
In view of facts mentioned above, this writ petition is disposed of by issuing directions to respondent No.2, to decide legal notice of the petitioner, as per law, by passing a speaking order. If the officer concerned wishes to reject his claim, he may pass a speaking order and supply a copy
