This order will dispose of the instant petition for pre-arrest bail filed by the petitioners in a case registered at the instance of Kuldip Kaur alleging that she had been maltreated by her husband. The petitioners are father-in-law and mother-in-law of the complainant. There are general allegations against the petitioners. During the course of investigation, it has transpired that they have been residing separately from their son and daughter-in-law. The petitioners have joined the investigation.
Accordingly, the petition is allowed and it is ordered that in case of arrest of the petitioners, they will be admitted to bail to the satisfaction of the arresting officer subject to the condition that they will appear before the investigating officer as and when required by the police and will not tamper with evidence or hamper the investigation at any stage.
