The petitioners have solemnized their marriage amongst themselves on 20-4-2009 at Shiv Mandir, Sector 12-A, Panchkula, as per Hindu rites and ceremonies. The Certificate (Annexure P-5) issued by Shiv Mandir, Sector 12-A, Panchkula and photographs (Annexure P-6) taken at the time of solemnization of the marriage have been placed on record.

The marriage of the petitioners, it is stated, is not to the liking of the mother (Respondent No.5) and brother (Respondent No.6) of petitioner No.1. Therefore, apprehending danger from them, the

petitioners have filed the present petition, seeking protection. In terms of the Secondary School Examination Certificate (Annexure P-3) issued by the Board of School Education, Haryana, the date of birth of petitioner No.1 has been mentioned as 10-4-1993. As per Secondary School Examination (Annexure P-4), the date of birth of petitioner No.2 is 7-71990.

Notice of motion was issued in the case for today.

Ajay Mittal (Respondent No.6) has put in appearance in Court and is identified by the Counsel for the petitioners. He is the brother of Kavita Rani (petitioner No.1). He has filed an affidavit dated 22-5-2009 and also an affidavit of his mother Smt. Usha Mittal (respondent No.5). The same are taken on record. The respondent Nos.5 and 6 have stated in their affidavits that they are happy with the marriage that has been solemnized by the petitioners.

Both the petitioners are also present in the Court and identified by their counsel. It is stated by them that they are happy with the marriage. Updesh (petitioner No.2) stated that he would keep his wife (petitioner No.1) in a proper manner and look after her.

In view of the above, the present petition has been rendered infructuous and the same is accordingly disposed of as such.
