The present revision petition is directed against the order passed by the learned Court below on an application under Order 39 Rule 1 & 2 of the Code of Civil Procedure.
This Court earlier admitted the petition on 2.4.2007 and permitted the Panchayat to lease out the Bachat land in accordance with law. However, the respondent/plaintiffs has taken the matter before Hon'ble the Supreme Court and the Hon'ble Supreme Court vide order dated 10.11.2008 has directed the parties to maintain status quo.
Today learned counsel for the parties agreed that the parties shall maintain status quo during the pendency of the civil suit and that learned trial Court be directed to decide the civil suit expeditiously.
In view of the said stand of the parties, the present revision petition is disposed of with direction to the parties to maintain status quo

in regard to the nature and possession of the suit land in terms of the order passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court and direct the learned trial Court to decide the civil suit as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of one month from 3.8.2009 i.e. the date fixed for appearance of the parties before the trial Court.
With the said directions, the revision petition is disposed of.
