Through the instant writ petition, the petitioners are impugning the order passed by the Director Consolidation, Haryana, Chandigarh dated 25.05.1999.
It is the vehement contention of the learned counsel for the petitioners that 27 petitioners impleaded in the instant writ petition constituted the entire Sikh community of the village, and that the land earmarked for the Gurudwara, is not suitable to them, on account of the fact, that the same is low lying, and is not located in the close vicinity of the Bus stand.
When asked, learned counsel for the petitioners acknowledged, that the challenge at the hands of the petitioners, is based on the factual position noticed in foregoing paragraph.
Having given our thoughtful consideration to the claim raised

by the petitioners, we are of the view, that the land earmarked in Khasra No.540 for the Gurudwara, is located within the abadi deh of the village, i.e. the place where villagers have effected constructions for their residences. We are of the view, that even though the land in question may be low lying and at a some distance from the Bus stand, it would be most suitable for the residents of the village, as it is located within the abadi deh.
For the reasons recorded herein above, we find no justification
to interfere with the impugned order.
