The petitioner prays for quashing the order dated 18-9-2003 ( Annexure P-5), whereby respondents No. 4 to 8 have been sent up for Intermediate School Course and were promoted as ASI despite the fact that the petitioner was senior to them. It is contended that the petitioner ought to have been promoted to the post of ASI.
Reply on behalf of respondents No.1 to 5 has been filed, wherein it has been averred that no person junior to the petitioner has been sent up for Intermediate School Course in Tarn Taran district, nor any one junior to him has been promoted as ASI in the
said district.

In view of the aforementioned facts, we find no merit in the present writ petition, which is dismissed.
