This petition purports to have been filed in public interest. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied in case representations marked Annexure P-2 and P-3 made by the petitioner to respondent No.3-Muncipal Corporation, Gurgaon are directed to be considered and disposed of at an early date. We see no reason to decline that limited prayer especially when Mr.Malik appearing for the Corporation has not disputed the fact that the representations made by the petitioner have indeed been received by the Commissioner.
In the circumstances, therefore, we allow this writ petition, but only to the extent that the Commissioner shall examine the representations mentioned above expeditiously but not later than two months from today under intimation to the petitioner. The petitioner will be at liberty to avail such other remedy as may be otherwise open to him
