After arguing for some time, counsel for the petitioners states that the petitioners may be permitted to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to challenge the election of Sh. Baltej Singh as Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat Village Longodeva, Tehsil Zira, District Ferozepur, who according to the petitioners has been illegally declared elected by the Returning Officer-respondent No.6.
Dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty.
