After arguing for some time, counsel for the petitioner states that since this writ petition is pre-mature, therefore, the petitioner may be permitted to withdraw this petition with liberty to pursue the representation dated 20.8.2008 (Annexure P-6), which has already been filed by him before Deputy Commissioner, Gurdaspur – respondent No.3, for filling up the casual vacancy of Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat, Village Bhopar Saidan, Tehsil and District Gurdaspur.
Dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty.
