The petitioner, who is the President of BSF Cooperative House Building Society Limited, Gwal Pahari, District Gurgaon, has filed this petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for setting aside the order dated 3.3.2008 (Annexure P-11), passed by Assistant Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Gurgaon, Haryana, exercising the powers of Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Haryana, whereby the Managing Committee of the aforesaid Society has been removed under Section 34 (1) of the Haryana Co-operative Societies Act, 1984 (hereinafter referred to as `the Act').
