Learned counsel for the petitioners states that in view of the affidavit dated 21.11.2008 of the Registrar, Cooperative Society, U.T. Chandigarh, filed in CWP No. 5755 of 2007, this petition has become infructuous. However, learned counsel for respondent No.4 Society states that in terms of the affidavit dated 24.11.2008 of the Administrators on behalf of respondent No.4, the petitioners are required to furnish indemnity bonds and after the same are furnished, immediately thereafter possession will be delivered to the petitioners. petitioners states that the petitioners will furnish the requisite indemnity bonds within a period of one month from today.
Dismissed as infructuous.
However, as far as election of the respondent Society is
concerned, the same shall be held expeditiously in accordance with the rules.
