Present: None for the petitioner. Mr.KDS Sidhu, DAG, Punjab.

Vide order dated December 28, 2007, a Warrant Officer was appointed to search the places as pointed out by the petitioner and release the detenus , if found present. As per the report dated 31.12.2007 of the Warrant Officer, the detenus were found at the place mentioned by the petitioner and they have already been released.
In view of the above, the present petition has become instructuous and is dismissed as having been rendered infructous.
