The parties to the impugned prosecution have compounded the offence and have placed on record documented compromise which may be read as Annexure P-6. Petitioner Baldev Singh son of Sh. Pritam Singh and Respondent No. 4 Sucha Singh son of Pritam Singh are present in the Court and are identified by their respective learned counsel. Both the parties own up the compounding.
Learned counsel for the parties state that the allowance of the compounding of offences shall enable the parties to live in peace and harmony.
In the larger interest of the society and to enable the parties to maintain cordial relations, the petition shall stand allowed and FIR No.43 dated 9.5.2007 under Sections 419, 420, 467, 468 and 471 IPC registered at Police Station, Dera Baba Nanak, Police District Batala (Revenue District Gurdaspur) shall stand quashed on account of compounding.
Disposed of accordingly.
