M/S Mukhtiar Singh and Sons Rice Sheller Vs State of Pb. and Ors.

The petitioner has approached this Court for issuance of directions to the respondents to allow the paddy for custom milling of the paddy. According to the petitioner, he is entitled to allotment of paddy for custom milling of the paddy in view of the latest scheme framed by the respondents.

From the perusal of the record, we find that a representation dated September 18, 2006 (Annexure P.6) has been filed by the petitioner which remains unresponded so far.

In this view of the matter, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, we dispose of the present petition with a direction to the District Food and Supplies Controller, Moga, respondent No.2 to take a final decision on the aforesaid representation (Annexure P.6) within a period of three weeks from the

date a certified copy of this order is received, by passing a detailed and speaking order.

A copy of the order be given dasti on payment of usual
