The present contempt petition has been filed for

non-compliance of order dated 16.07.2018 passed in C.W.J.C. No.16832 of 2015, whereby the writ petition was disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.4 to consider the petitioners’ case for regularization and dispose of the claim of

the petitioners by reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks.

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State-Opposite Parties, by referring to their show-cause, would submit that the meeting of the Selection Committee with regard to appointment on Group-D posts was convened on 27.07.2019 under the Chairmanship of the District Magistrate, Jamui, wherein apart from other cases, the cases of the petitioners were also considered and the Committee after considering the cases of the petitioners rejected their claims and disposed of their application.

From perusal of the said proceeding of the meeting dated 27.07.2019, it would transpire that the cases of the petitioners were considered by the Committee and the same has been rejected. This Court is satisfied that the order dated 16.07.2018 passed in C.W.J.C. No.16832 of 2015 has already been complied with by the opposite parties and accordingly, no contempt is made out.
