The present writ petition has been filed by the

petitioners with the following reliefs:

“(i) For issuance of an appropriate writ of certiorari for the petitioners for granting fixed salary according to fifth pay commission from 1996 in favour of petitioners.

(ii) For issuance of an appropriate writ of certiorari for the petitioners to grant continued arrears/salary/payment from May, 2001 to 2005 according to fifth pay commission after pay revision.

(iii) For issuance of writ of mandamus for direction to the respondents to pay all other consequential benefits to the petitioners as admissible under law.

(iv) For issuance of any relief/reliefs as may deem fit and proper and for which the petitioners are entitled.”

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that for the relief the petitioners have filed representations before respondent No. 2, the Managing Director, Bihar State Beej Nigam Ltd, but till date no decision has been taken.

Learned counsel for the State, on the other hand, submits that the petitioners may be directed to file fresh representation before respondent No. 2, the Managing Director, Bihar State Beej Nigam Ltd.

In the light of the submissions made, the writ petition is disposed off directing the petitioners to file fresh representation along with a copy of this order before respondent No. 2, the Managing Director, Bihar State Beej Nigam Ltd within thirty days from today and respondent No. 2, the Managing Director, Bihar State Beej Nigam Ltd shall pass a reasoned and speaking order on the representation of the petitioners within 60 days thereafter.
