The petitioners, who are retired employees/their

dependents, have approached this Court seeking a direction upon the respondent authorities for following reliefs:-

“(i) To pay due amount of gratuity and arrear of difference of pension as per recommendation of 7^th pay Revision Commission Report which has been accepted by the Government w.e.f. 01.01.2016 and given monetary benefits from 01.04.2017.

(ii) To pay arrear of difference of D.A. (Dearness allowance) for the period 01.01.2022 to 30.09.2022

¶35

(iii) To pay medical allowance due Rs. 800/- (Eight Hundred) per month as per enhancement.

¶36

(iv) To pay arrear of salary as per promotion in ACP/MACP scale.

¶37

(v) To pay all the due amount with interest @ 18 % per annum compound for delay payment.

(vi) To grant other relief/reliefs for which the petitioner is entitle.”

attention of this Court to paragraph no. 4 of the counter affidavit filed on behalf of the University dated 19.02.2024 submitted

that all the outstanding retiral benefits have already been paid to the petitioner and a chart with respect to the payments in different heads have been duly mentioned in paragraph no. 4 of the counter affidavit.

So far the claim with regard to medical allowance and the benefit of ACP/MACP are concerned, that was found to be baseless and inadmissible.

¶44

In view of the categorical averments made in the counter affidavit filed on behalf of the University, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
