Petitioner Ramanand Prasad Jaisawal sought mandamus directing the respondents to rectify/correct Jamabandi No. 296 covering 2.982 1/2 acre (khata No. 296, khesra No. 65, Mauja Sasaul), alleging that respondent No. 9 (Yogendra Rai), in collusion with some Anchal staff, had receipts issued in his own favour for 1.20 1/2 decimal of the petitioner's land, although the land had been purchased by the petitioner's father vide registered deed, mutated in his favour, with Jamabandi created in his name. Objections filed with the Sub-Divisional Public Objection Redressal Officer, Dhamdaha and the Anchaladhikari, Dhamdaha resulted in Jamabandi Cancellation Case No.1/2019-20 / 42/2019-20 drawn up by the Additional Collector, Purnea, which remained pending, which the petitioner alleged showed bias. During hearing, counsel submitted that the sole petitioner was no more and sought liberty for the family to approach respondent no. 3, the Additional Collector, Purnea. The present petition has been preferred for the grant of following relief(s):

petitioner appertaining to khata No. 296, khesra No. 65 of Mauja Sasaul in which land was purchased by the father of the petitioner vide registered deed and got his land mutated in his favour and Jamabandi number was created in his name but the respondent No. 9 in collusion with some Anchal staffs got receipts issued in his favour for the land of the petitioner measuring an area of 1.20 ½ decimal of the aforesaid khata and khesra again for which the petitioner filed objection before the concerned authorities including Sub-Divisional Public Objection Redressal officer Dhamdaha, Anchaladhikari Dhamdaha and accordingly Jamabandi cancellation Case No.1/2019-20 / 42/2019-20 was drawn up by the Additional Collector, Purnea who after receipt of the report from the Anchaladhikari, Dhamdaha and after filing of the pleading by the petitioner and others has kept the matter pending without any reason which shows his biasness against the petitioner and thus this Hon'ble court should the concerned

counsel for the petitioner submits that the sole petitioner is no more and as such, family be granted liberty to approach the respondent no.3, the Additional Collector, Purnea for redressal of the grievance.
