The instant writ application has been filed for the

following reliefs:-

(i) For quashing letter no.8140 dated 24.03.2021 & letter no.20116-17 dated 26.06.2021 where under family pension and other claims/ entitlements payable to the petitioner after death of her husband late Ram Babu Yadav is being delayed unreasonably on untenable grounds. The petitioner has complied all requirement

sought for but the respondents are illegally forcing petitioner to send her application for getting accidental insurance amount payable by the United India Insurance though the Branch Manager Khjauli Branch (respondent no.5) on its letterhead, ignoring the fact that said Bank is not concerned with petitioner and petitioner has received part of salary of her husband through SBI Pandaul Branch Bank account no.37616743387; IFSC Code: SBIN0014305 and she has requested to pay all entitlement through this account. The respondent no.6 (Branch Manager, SBI Khajauli Branch) has verbally refused to endorse her application and attest her signature on untenable ground that the mother of the deceased is nominee in the said account of Khajauli Branch. Similar frivolous objections are being raised with the present residential address of the petitioner, which at village Sohrai, post Pandaul, district Madhubani. The petitioner is acknowledged in the service records of the department as dependent of the deceased employee, and she is entitled to get all dues as well as appointment on compassionate ground.

(ii) For directing the respondents to pay family pension, other terminal dues on the death of late Ram Babu Yadav, amount of accidental insurance and other entitlements immediately through her above referred Bank account at SBI Pandaul Branch. The petitioner prays for payment of all these amount along with interest and cost of litigation.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that,

vide order dated 10.04.2026, he was directed to obtain instructions with regard to the status of payment stated to have been made by United India Insurance Company. On instructions, he submits that half of the amount in question has been paid to the petitioner in light of the judgment rendered in the case of Smt. Bolla Malathi vs. B. Suguna & Ors. in Civil Appeal No.14604 of 2025 .

In view of the submissions so made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, it appears that part of the claim of the petitioner has already been satisfied, as the amount has been paid in light of the judgment rendered in the case of Smt. Bolla Malathi (supra) .

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, no further direction is required to be passed in the present writ application.

Accordingly, the instant writ application stands disposed of.
