Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Mansahi P.S. Case No. 190 of 2023, instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 307, 504 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Subsequently, u/s 302 of the I.P.C. was added.

Earlier vide order dated 09.07.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 29556 of 2025, regular bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court considering the nature and gravity of the offence as also there being direct allegation of assault against the petitioner with a liberty to renew the prayer after six months if the trial is not concluded.

In compliance of the order dated 13.02.2026, a report dated 24.02.2026 with regard to the present stage of trial has

been received. From perusal of the aforesaid report, it appears that prosecution has examined its all witnesses and statements u/s 313 of the Cr.P.C. of the accused persons have also been recorded. It is further reported that the case record is running for defence evidence.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 05.12.2023 and he has got no criminal antecedent.

Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for grant of bail.

There is no fresh ground to consider the bail petition of the petitioner. From the aforesaid report, it appears that the trial is going on and is at an advance stage.

In view of the above, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is again rejected.
