2 . The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Shikarpur P.S. Case No. 146 of 2024 registered for the offences punishable under Section 392 of the I.PC.

3 . As per the prosecution case, on 01.03.2024 at about 07:40 the petitioner was going to his office on motorcycle after collecting sum of Rs. 80,570/-. In the meantime, two miscreants intercepted the informant and on gunpoint, snatched the key of his motorcycle. Further, they also snatched a bag containing Rs. 80,570/-, Tablet, Scanner, Biometric machine, Aadhar Card of the informant and company ID card.

4 . Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. It has further been submitted that the petitioner is not named in the FIR and he has been made accused in this case only on the basis of his self confessional statement before police while he was in police custody, which has got no evidentiary value. It is has also been submitted that no TIP was conducted by the police and there is no recovery of any incriminating article from the possession of the petitioner. Lastly, it has been submitted that the petitioner has eighteen criminal antecedents out of which he is on bail in seven cases and is in custody since 05.05.2025.

5 . Learned APP for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

6. Perused the record and considered the submission of the parties. The petitioner is accused in altogether eighteen cases mostly of similar nature as well as under Arms Act also which prima facie reflects that he is a habitual offender. The present case relates to a road robbery, in which the petitioner is alleged to have snatched all belongings and documents from the informant.

7. In view of the aforesaid fact and circumstance, this

court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and the same is hereby rejected.
