This is an application for regular bail on behalf of

the petitioner for the offences alleged under Sections 85, 103(1) and 3(5) of the BNS, registered in connection with Ghoghardiha P.S.Case No. 71 of 2025.

As per the allegation, the deceased was tormented in various ways and ultimately done to death for dowry demand.

The learned senior counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated. The marriage was solemnized 10 years prior to the

occurrence. Two sons, aged 8 and 9 years, respectively, borne out of the wedlock of the petitioner and the deceased. The learned senior counsel has submitted further that ten years after the marriage, the demand of a bullet motor-cycle and Rs. 10,00,000/-, prima facie appears far-fetched and false. Other coaccused persons have been granted bail/anticipatory bail. The FIR itself shows that the elder brother of the petitioner had informed the father of the deceased on which he rushed to the place where cremation was going out.

On the other hand, Mr Shailendra Kumar, learned APP for the State and the learned counsel for the informant, have opposed the prayer for bail. The learned counsel for the informant has subitted that prior to the occurrence the deceased informed her father that the accused persons were torturing her on mobile phone, to which the learned senior counsel for the petitioner replied that there is no investigation on this point and the CDR is not there in the case diary.

Considering the above facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above-named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned J.M. First Class, Jhanjharpur, Madhubani in connection with Ghoghardiha
