Case No. 86 of 2024 (Thana KARAMCHAT, District Kaimur (Bhabua)), registered for offences punishable under Sections 137(2), 140(3) of the BNS. Per the FIR, the informant's daughter left her house on 30.07.2024 at about 10:30 AM and did not return. Counsel for the petitioner contended that he was innocent and not named in the FIR, that the victim is a married lady who went with the petitioner of her own sweet will and rendered her statements under Sections 180 and 183 of BNSS under pressure of her family members, and that the petitioner, in custody since 13.05.2025, is a person of clean antecedent; the learned APP opposed the bail prayer. In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Karamchat P.S. Case No. 86 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 137(2), 140(3) of the BNS.
