Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 115(2), 126(2), 109, 74, 352, 351(2), (3), 308(3) and 3(5) of BNS.

The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along others being armed with weapon arrived at the house of the informant and started abusing and demanding Rs. 50,000/per month as rangdari. Specific allegation against this petitioner is that he caught the hair of the informant’s wife and pulled and told to kill her if Rs. 50,000/- rangdari is not given.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Learned

counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the nature of allegation is general and omnibus.
