The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 45 of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has antecedent of one case and the informant alleges that on 27.12.2025 he got a secret information that petitioner along with other co-accused are selling liquor at Khurhan Ward No.8, Alamnagar, Madhepura, accordingly a raid was conducted but then people gathered and abused the raiding team and also tried to confine them inside the house and assaulted them.

falsely implicated in the instant case by the informant. It is next submitted that petitioner being brother of Chotu Singh came to be implicated without holding a proper investigation. It is reiterated and submitted that specific information regarding selling liquor was against Chotu Singh.

Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender within a period of six weeks from today, be released on provisional anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.5000/- (Rupees five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned trial court where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Udakishunganj Excise P.S. Case No.264/2025, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the B.N.S.S.
