2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Shankarpur P. S. Case No. 87 of 2025 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 137(2), 140(3) and 3(5) of the B.N.S.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that with regard to the allegation of disappearance of the victim, namely Vira Kumar, the petitioner has been falsely implicated by the informant. In fact, the petitioner had married his handicapped daughter to the victim and after completion of the marriage rituals, the informant's own aunt, namely Sangita Devi, along with one Suresh Sah, took the victim with them on the pretext of

relieving him, thereafter, they caused the victim to disappear and started pressurizing the petitioner to pay money and transfer some land in favour of the victim. It is further submitted that when the demand made by the said Sangita Devi could not be fulfilled, a false allegation of abduction of the victim by the petitioner was made, which is not supported by any of the witnesses during the course of the investigation.

4. Learned APP for the State opposes the bail prayer of the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid submissions and taking note of the petitioner's fair and clean antecedent, as well as the fact that there is no statement of even a single witness in the case diary claiming to have seen the petitioner taking away the victim and causing his disappearance, in my opinion, in the said circumstances, the petitioner deserves to the relief of anticipatory bail. Accordingly, let the petitioner named-above, in the event of his arrest/surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail in connection with Shankarpur P. S. Case No. 87 of 2025 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court concerned, subject to the conditions
