The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with

Session Trial No. 151 of 2025, arising out of Chakmehsi P.S. Case No. 162 of 2024, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 109, 308(3), 303(2), 3(5) of the B.N.S.

The petitioner and the co-accused person are accused of demanding rangdari of Rs. 5,000/- from the informant for taking liquor and the same was not given. Subsequently, after few days the accused persons have assaulted the informant.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since
