The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection

with Bihar P.S. Case No.542 of 2025 instituted under Sections 316(2), 303(2) of the B.N.S., 2023.

As per the prosecution case, the informant has alleged that petitioner has taken Rs.2,30,000 from her daughter, namely, Radha by blackmailing her with the help of dirty videos. It is alleged that petitioner has threatened his daughter to be killed if the money was not given.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submits that the petitioner and informant both are relative and there was some money transaction between them but only to put pressure upon the petitioner to grab his

money which was given as advance for land, present case has been lodged. Learned counsel submits that there is no video made by the petitioner as alleged. He further submits that petitioner is a man of clean antecedent and he undertakes to cooperate in the investigation and trial of the case.

Learned A.P.P. for the State and learned counsel for the informant opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, submissions of learned counsel for the parties and the nature of allegation leveled against the petitioner as well as his clean antecedent, in the event of arrest or surrender before the Court below within six weeks from today, the petitioner be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount to each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M., Nalanda at Biharsharif/ concerned Court in connection with Bihar P.S. Case No.542 of 2025, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
