Heard the parties.

The present application has been filed for initiation of a contempt proceeding against the opposite parties for their willful and deliberate disobedience of the order of this Court dated 05.12.2024 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 18550 of 2024.

A show-cause affidavit has been filed on behalf of O.P. Nos.5 and 6.

In pursuant to the liberty extended to the petitioners, they had filed a detailed representation, which was duly considered after constituting a Screening Committee under the Chairmanship of Inspector General of Police-cumAdditional Commandant. After examination of the record and the videography done at the time of selection, it has been found that petitioners no. 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12 and 13 failed in the Physical Eligibility Test Running organized on the date fixed pursuant to Advertisement No.01/2009 and 02/2011 related to the block concerned in district Sitamarhi. Further petitioner no.3 and 10 did not appear in the Physical Eligibility Test Running.

Accordingly, all of them were not selected. A report after proper enquiry has also been submitted to the concerned authority. The claim of the petitioners has not been found merit consideration.

Considering the averments made in the show-cause affidavit and the enquiry report, which have been placed on record as Annexure-B to the show-cause affidavit, this Court does not find any reason or occasion to continue with the present contempt proceeding. Accordingly, the same stands closed.
