Heard learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner and

learned counsel appearing for Magadh University.

With the consent of parties the present writ application is being disposed of at this stage itself.

In the present writ application the petitioner has prayed for the grant of following reliefs:

“(i) To issue an appropriate writ/s including a writ preferably in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing upon the respondent authorities to consider the petitioner for appointment on the post of Guest Faculty for History Subject.

(ii) To issue an appropriate writ/s including a writ preferably in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing upon the respondent authorities concerned to publish the result of exam conducted for post of Guest

(iii) To issue an appropriate writ preferably in the nature of mandamus as an alternative prayer of the petitioners for directing the respondent authorities concerned to dispose of the representation dated 2 13.10.2025 addressed to Respondents for considering the appointment of petitioner on post of Guest Faculty in history subject.

(iv) To any other relief/s to which the petitioner may be entitled in the facts and circumstances of the case.”

Learned counsel for the petitioner after advancing some argument submits that for claiming the aforesaid relief, the petitioner has already filed a representation before the ViceChancellor, Magadh University, Bodh Gaya, which is dated 13.10.2025 (Annexure-P/7), which continues to be pending till date. He, therefore, submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if an appropriate direction could be issued by this Court directing the Vice-Chancellor, Magadh University, Bodh Gaya to dispose of the pending representation of the petitioner dated 13.10.2025 after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a fixed time frame.

To the aforesaid submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel appearing for Magadh University does not have any objection.

Considering the limited nature of prayer being made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present writ application is disposed of directing the Vice-Chancellor, Magadh University, Bodh Gaya to dispose of the pending representation of the petitioner within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order by the petitioner. It is made clear that the Vice-Chancellor, Magadh University, Bodh Gaya shall give an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner before passing final order and the final order which shall be passed should be a reasoned and speaking order.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, the present writ application stands disposed of. Pending I.As, if any will be deemed to have been disposed of.
