Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bahadurpur P.S. Case No. 192 of 2025 instituted for the offences under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 117(2), 308(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Sections 25(1-b)a, 26 of the Arms Act

The prosecution case is that petitioner demanded ₹10,000 as rangdari from the informant’s son, assaulted him with a pistol causing head injury, and was subsequently caught by villagers who handed over the pistol to police.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in the present case.

Learned counsel further submitted that no any extortion amount was delivered in this case. Learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner is being dragged in this case merely on the ground of the previous enmity between the parties. Learned counsel further submitted that the injury sustained by the informant is simple in nature. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 15.04.2025 and has one criminal antecedent.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, injury report as also the period of custody undergone by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 15,000/- ( Rupees Fifteen Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Court below/concerned Court in connection with Bahadurpur P.S. Case No. 192 of 2025.
