Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the complainant and learned APP for the State.

The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in Complaint Case No.513 of 2024 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 379, 498(A) and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the D. P. Act, but the cognizance was taken under Sections 323 and 498(A) of the I.P.C.

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the case was taken up on 09.07.2025 and the case was referred for mediation, but then, petitioner did not

appear in the mediation proceeding on any date, on which the learned A.P.P. submits that it appears that petitioner had sought for mediation only with a view to seek stay on his arrest. The learned A.P.P. further submits that this amply demonstrates the conduct of the petitioner that he did not even bothered to respect the orders of this Court.

Considering the submissions made by the learned A.P.P., the Court is not inclined to entertain the anticipatory bail application of the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer of the petitioner for anticipatory bail stands rejected.
