The petitioner who happens to be husband of O.P. No.2 is apprehending his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No.1137 of 2021, wherein cognizance has been taken for the offence punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code.

This Court after having taken note of the allegation and the dispute, which arose on account of a family feud between the parties, relegated the matter to the Patna High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre for resolving the dispute.

Learned Mediator vide his report dated 16.10.2025 has apprised this Court that the dispute between the parties has been resolved through the process of mediation. The terms of settlement mutually agreed upon them is also attached with the report.

Having considered the submissions advanced by the learned Advocate for the respective parties and taking note of the fact that the dispute between the petitioner and O.P.
