Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Pipra P.S. Case No. 271 of 2021 registered for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 324, 325, 447, 448, 379, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, the petitioner has assaulted the victim with a Dabia on the head causing grievous injury to the victim.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 17.05.2023 and has clean antecedent. He further submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case.

Considering the aforesaid facts and the period of

custody, this application is allowed.
