Patna High Court (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J), by oral order dated 12-12-2025 in Criminal Miscellaneous No.10360 of 2025, arising out of PS Case No. 93 of 2021, Teterhat Police Station, District Lakhisarai, allowed regular bail to Chandan Kumar son of Sri Ramvilok Ray @ Muni Jee @ Rambilok Ram, sought for an offence punishable under Section 30a of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, in which 949.320 liters of illicit liquor was allegedly recovered from a pick-up van. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that no incriminating material was recovered from the petitioner's conscious possession on the disclosure made by the arrested person, that the petitioner is neither owner nor driver of the vehicle, and that he had been in custody since 19.12.2024.
