This writ application has been filed for directing the

respondents to consider the name of the petitioner as both Vineet Kumar and Vineet Kumar Singh.

At the outset, learned counsel appearing on behalf

of the respondent-C.B.S.E. raises preliminary objection to the maintainability of this writ application on the ground that petitioner seeks correction of mark-sheet of the year 2008 for which petitioner has filed application in the year 2024, which is barred by limitation.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner is not in a position to dispute the above contentions.

However, considering the carrier of the petitioner, this writ application is disposed of with direction to the petitioner to file fresh appropriate application, duly forwarded through the concerned school, before the Regional Director, Central Board of Secondary Education, Patna, Bihar (Respondent No. 3) along with all the necessary documents and details in support of his claim within a period of twelve weeks from today.

In the event the petitioner files his application within the stipulated period, the Regional Director, Central Board of Secondary Education, Patna, Bihar (Respondent No. 3) shall consider the same without keeping in mind the limitation and dispose of the same, in accordance with law, after hearing the parties, by a reasoned and speaking order, preferably within a period of six months from the date of filing of the application.
