The present writ petition has been filed seeking the

following relief:-

“1. That this writ application is being filed for issuance of writ/writs, direction / directions to the Respondents to renew the Driving License of the petitioner bearing Driving License No. BR2420000090799 issued by District Transport Officer, Rohtas valid till 30.05.2023 and further be directed to issue Smart Card of the petitioner after renewed.”

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the license of the petitioner has been

renewed, however, the smart card has not been issued, hence, the District Transport Officer, Rohtas, Bihar, be directed to issue the same, forthwith. It is directed accordingly.
