The present writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ of mandamus to the respondent authorities to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate ground on grade-IV post.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that his representation is pending before the authorities with effect from 14.07.2016, but till date no decision has been taken.

In this background, it is directed to the petitioner that he shall file supplementary representation along with this order before The Commissioner-cum-Chief Executive Officer

Patna Municipal Corporation Budha Marg, Patna (respondent no.2) within four weeks from today.

The Commissioner-cum-Chief Executive Officer Patna Municipal Corporation Budha Marg, Patna (respondent no.2) is directed to pass a reasoned and speaking order following the law of the land for fulfilling the grievances of the petitioner within 90 days from the date of production of petitioner’s supplementary representation along with this order.

It is made clear that the said 90 days shall be counted from the date of end of general elections of Lok Sabha, 2024.

Accordingly, with the aforesaid directions, this writ petition is hereby disposed off.
