The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-

"1. That this is an application for issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction, especially in the nature of writ of Mandamus to issue direction to the concerned respondent authorities to extend the contractual period of service of the petitioner for the further period to serve as Chemist in the department, as the petitioner has been

continuously discharging his duty on the said post on contractual period since 2017 with full satisfaction and devotion to the office concerned and now his age has already been expired to get another job in government service; And/Or may pass a suitable order or orders as Your Lordships may deem fit and proper. After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent authorities for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
