The petitioner no. 2, a Society registered under the provisions of Bihar Co-operative Societies Act, 1935, through its Secretary, has preferred the present writ petition seeking a direction upon the respondent no. 4, the District Fisheries Officer, Kaimur at Bhabhua, to issue fishing parwana from 2024-2025 for newly settled nine fish jalkars with the petitioner no. 2, immediately without any delay. The petitioner also sought

a direction upon the respondent no. 4 to adjust/refund the revenue paid by the petitioners society for the settlement year 2023-2024, for which period, no fishing parwana was issued.

Learned Advocate for the petitioners while questioning the inaction of the respondent no. 4, had placed reliance upon the various judgments passed by this Court, duly affirmed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court. It is the contention of the petitioner that for redressal of their grievance, they approached before the District Fisheries Officer, Kaimur at Bhabhua by filing an appropriate representation along with the order of the Hon'ble Court as well as the Hon'ble Supreme Court, but till date, the respondent no. 4 is sitting tight over the matter and no appropriate order has been passed.

Learned Advocate for the State submits that since the matter is pending before the District Fisheries Officer, Kaimur at Bhabhua, who is the competent authority, he shall look into the grievance of the petitioner.

Considering the submissions advanced on behalf of the respective parties, the present writ petition stands disposed off with a direction to the respondent no. 4 to consider the claim of the petitioners, for which the petitioners have already filed a detailed representation, the copy of which is marked as
