The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Forbesganj P.S. Case No. 871 of 2023 dated 15.09.2023, lodged under Sections 376 and 506 of the I.P.C.

As per the prosecution case, the F.I.R. has been lodged against five named accused including the petitioner. The allegation against the petitioner is of having established sexual relationship with the victim on the promise of marriage.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He submits that the petitioner is in custody since 16.09.2023 having clean antecedent. He further submits that the alleged victim is a major.
