The petitioner, by way of instant Public Interest Litigation (PIL), has alleged financial irregularities/fraudulent activities by the respondents, who are the Chairman of the Primary Agricultural Credit Societies and the Manager of the Rahika Central Co-operative Bank.

The issues, raised by the petitioner, are primarily against a cooperative society and its office bearers for which remedy lies under the provisions of the Bihar and Orissa Co-operative Societies Act (hereinafter referred to as 'Act').

For availing the remedy under the Act, or in any other forum of competent jurisdiction, the writ application is disposed of but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's claim.
