The present writ petition has been filed seeking the
following relief:-
“1. That, the petitioner craves indulgence of this Hon’ble Court for issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of Certiorari for quashing the order dated June, 2014 vide letter no.A, Chh-1/2014 Est-1 passed by Commandant 190 Battalion C.R.P.F. Chatra, Jharkhand as contained in Annexure-4. And/or any other writ/writs, order/order, command/command for directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner on the post of G.D. constable in C.R.P.F. on the basis of compensation ground.”
After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since the case of the petitioner for grant of compassionate appointment has been rejected on account of

him being married, in terms of the notification of the DOP&T bearing OM No.14014/02/2012-Estt(D) dated 30.05.2013, the present writ petition be disposed off, while granting liberty to the younger brother of the petitioner, who is unmarried, to approach the respondent authorities for grant of appointment on compassionate ground.
In case it is permissible in law, the petitioner is at liberty to seek redressal of his aforesaid grievances by approaching the respondent-authorities.
Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off as not pressed.
