The petitioner has come before this Court being aggrieved of a wrong chesis number mentioned in the registration certificate of the truck, which he had purchased on loan and on account of the same, the petitioner is unable to ply the truck on the road.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that while the petitioner has already filed petition before the consumer court, he may be allowed to use the truck for his livelihood and to pay EMIs.
In the opinion of this Court, the prayer made in the present petition is wholly misconceived and the petitioner cannot be allowed to ply a truck having a different registration number. Unless the registration number is changed and matches with the chesis number of the truck, no vehicle can be allowed

to ply on the road.
As such, the writ petition is dismissed. However, dismissal of the writ petition would not come in the way of the petitioner for pursuing the remedy which he has already availed of.
